Did you know that Coco Chanel‘s real name was Gabrielle?  I’m not named after her, but it’s pretty cool as a fashionista to share a name with such a style icon!  When it comes to fashion and style, Chanel is pretty much eternal.  It has, and will probably always epitomize class and timeless elegance.

Sometimes, classics and trends don’t mesh well; Chanel is forever, but that doesn’t mean it’s always at the forefront of ever-evolving street style.  This season, Chanel’s classic cap toe shoes have been all over social media; influencers, bloggers, every style maven has rocked an outfit with the flats, pumps, or slingback versions.  If I wanted to not pay rent this month, I would’ve bought myself a pair of Chanel’s (I love these!), but alas, I like to have a roof over my head!  I’ve rounded up a few alternatives, including the pair I own.
