So this should be week 8, but since it is a new year, I’m going to start all over. My goal for 2016 is to have 52 posts, one for every week. So here we go! I’ll start this segment off with a New Year’s themed post…
1. I vacillate between being lazy and proactive, but apparently anyone can keep these beauty resolutions. (via PopSugar)
2. Trying to get fit or lose weight but don’t know where to start? My favorite site has you covered. (via Byrdie)
3. Even though I usually feel like I have nothing to wear, the truth is that my closet is starting to get out of hand. I can’t wait to clean out my closet this weekend. (via PopSugar)
4. Our society has a major problem with class, in that we are not classy whatsoever. Watch any old movie (try Breakfast at Tiffany’s or Singing in the Rain) and youll be shocked at how far society has fallen in terms of manners and the way we talk to each other. I’m making a conscious effort to be a better person this year, and that starts with kicking some words out of my vocabulary. (via PopSugar)
5. Sugar is the devil, and you won’t believe how many foods it hides in! I really want to give it up this year, or as much as I can without hating my meals. Here’s what to expect when you try to give it up. (via Byrdie)
6. One of the hardest things about working out is that I feel like it entitles me to eat whatever I want. I’m excited to try out some of these healthy recipes instead of pizza. (via PopSugar)
7. Alright, so moving on from ideas for a better body, I’m really interested in this article on how to improve your willpower and mind. (via PopSugar)
8. The Happiness Jar might be my favorite New Year’s themed idea of all. (via Elizabeth Gilbert)
I’d love to hear your New Year’s resolutions! Happy 2016!
XX, Gabrielle
