When I saw this photo of Kim Kardashian, I knew. The versatile tank of the early 2000s is back, not that it ever really left. It’s all a part of the pared-down look favored by Kardashian and others, in the “Less is More” frame of mind. But calling it a “wife-beater” is insensitive, crude, and just plain gross. Show a little respect to the versatile tank, and more importantly, to women, and just call it a tank top.
