I’ve never felt comfortable in bikinis.  In society’s skewed idea of what’s attractive, i.e. skinny, wears small sizes, I would be considered lucky to fit the mold.  But that doesn’t mean I don’t struggle with my own self-esteem and self-image issues.  I think everybody does.  So when it comes to swimwear, I’ve opted for one-pieces for a long time.  In addition to being more comfortable, one-pieces cover up my stomach, the part of my body I feel most self-conscious about.

So what does this bikini have that others don’t?  For starters, it’s affordable.  Each piece is only $19.  You can mix and match the different styles, and the stretchy, crinkled material leads me to believe that the ‘one size fits all’ option might actually be true.  I chose high-cut hipster bottoms and strapless top, and I also ordered the crop bikini top!  I’ve been wearing it to the pool, around the house, and I’m taking it on vacation this weekend.  It’s that comfortable, and I feel great in it.
