Heyday Haul: Naturopathica Sweet Cherry Brightening Enzyme Peel

I get a facial at Heyday Tribeca every time I’m in New York.  It’s luxurious, soothing, and relatively inexpensive compared to most facials.  I always see the same esthetician, Cheryl, who has become a friend and confidant of sorts, so our sessions are always really fun and therapeutic.  We also give each other product recommendations; I always tell her about the new skincare and makeup I love, and she tells me about products that she thinks I’d like.

I almost always end up buying something she uses on me, both to maintain my skin in between facials and to blog about, so I figured that I’d start a special segment highlighting those products!  I’ve already reviewed the Alchimie Forever Kantic Brightening Moisture Mask Cheryl and I love, so I’m going to start with one of the products she uses on me every time, Naturopathica’s Sweet Cherry Brightening Enzyme Peel!

I love eating cherries, I love their deep, rich colors, and I love the beauty benefits they provide.   Cherries are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, so they’re a great fruit to eat as well as use on your skin if you’re looking to beautify from the inside out.  The antioxidants found in cherries are great for preventing skin aging and fighting free radicals, while the high levels of Vitamin A mean that the cherries contain antibacterial properties that fight skin bacteria, helping to combat acne.  I always say that you will have a much easier time with your skin if you eat well.  You really are what you eat!

Have you ever tried any products with cherries in them?  Send recommendations my way!  Love, Me
