One of the best parts of our trip to Arizona was hiking in Sabino Canyon in the Coronado National Forest. We rode the tram up to the top of the trails, and walk all the way back down, stopping to swim in the waterfalls and marvel at the seemingly endless cacti surrounding us. It was exhausting and hot, and we all got sunburned, but I will always remember that hike on our first full day in Tucson as a magical time when I fell in love with the southwest. If you’re looking for a place that is truly extraordinary, Arizona is it.
