My Style: Matcha Do About Nothing

I gave up coffee over a year ago, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.  It’s not for everyone, I know a lot of people need their coffee.  But it helped me lose weight, save money, improve my skin, and sleep better at night!  Instead, I drink tea all day long.  My absolute favorite tea is matcha, a green tea with some amazing health benefits.  Matcha is stone-ground green tea, so unlike regular green tea, you actually ingest the tea leaves and receive all of their goodness!  Matcha has one-hundred and thirty-seven times more antioxidants than regularly brewed green tea, and can boost your metabolism, burn calories, detoxify your body, and lower cholesterol and blood sugar.  My mom loves it too, and even my dad drinks it sometimes!

When I was in New York for Halloweekend, I went to Cha Cha Matcha for the first time!  My girlfriends had never had matcha before, but they know I’m addicted, so we set off to taste a few of the treats.  I absolutely loved everything about the place!  The decor, music, drinks and food were all adorable and delicious, and I can’t wait to go back.
