I am home, y’all! I just got back yesterday morning from a volunteer mission in my homeland, Israel, and it was absolutely incredible. I intern for an organization called Jewish National Fund, and they do all kinds of projects in Israel, America, and all over to make the world a better place for Jews and non-Jews. So for 6 days, forty other college students and I went all over Israel learning about JNF’s projects and helping out at some of them. It feels so good to do good things for others; I’ve loved volunteering since I was young, and I encourage everyone to try doing random acts of kindness every day.
Israel is full of lemon, orange, and olive trees!
I am always in awe of how gorgeous this country is.
Hiking is a big part of Israeli life. I love how many trails there are all over the country.
