If you follow me on social media (instagram, twitter, snapchat) you already know that I am in my favorite place in the universe, Cape Cod. My mom’s family has been coming to the Cape since the 1960s, and my grandparents have owned our current house, The Anchor, since the year I was born.

Needless to say, we are deeply in love with this place. From May through September we try to be at the house every weekend, and its always the saddest when we close up for the winter. The best part of every summer is the end of August, when we spend about two weeks down here. There is something so magical about a place that calms you, makes you happy, and makes you feel safe. No matter how much the world around me changes, The Anchor has basically stayed the same all these years, and when you’re twenty-two years old and everything is changing, that is the most wonderful thing ever.
Anyway, hello from my happiest place! I thought I’d give you a peek into paradise…
Saturday night fireworks at West Dennis Beach! We didn’t even know this was going to happen, but what a way to start our vacation!
We like to get to Chapin Beach around 8 AM before the crowds. Between the sandbars and the warm turquoise waves, I swear they might’ve shot Pirates of the Caribbean here…
Seriously though, how cute are my parents?
Sitting where the tide fills the sandbar
People say I’m exactly like my mom, but I don’t see it 😛
I love letting the little hermit crabs crawl on my hands; they’re the only kind/size crab that doesn’t completely freak me out!
Late night screening of ‘Trainwreck’ at Chatham Orpheum. I love their mural of the greats, so I couldn’t pass up a picture with Marilyn. (Shoutout to Indiana Jones too, yum!)
Monday’s aren’t so bad when you’re on a sunset cruise
Boat Selfie #1
We were on an “ecotour,” so there were lots of seashells to look at. Look how teeny these are!
Sister Shellfie
My dad LOVES candid shots almost as much as Emma and I loved listening to the ocean in all the seashells
Can you hear me now?
Mother-daughter cuteness overload
Another great candid, this time by Mom
