I have such a love-hate relationship with my hair. It’s mostly love, because I know I’m lucky to have this horse’s mane of long, thicky, wavy blonde hair. It’s mermaid hair. But you know what? Mermaid hair is a lot of work. I’m not ashamed to admit that when I’m home, I beg my mom/sister/grandma/even my dad to comb it for me, because it takes about a half hour to really detangle it. It’s work.
Having this much hair also means I use a lot of shampoo and need to keep my hair hydrated and healthy. But masking takes forever, and I dread the days when I have to slather it on and comb it through. It always takes about three shampoos to really get it all out, too.
But with my newest discovery, IGK’s Prenup Instant Spray Hair Mask, I’m officially out of excuses, and you will be too. The aerosol formula is made with amla oil and cupuacu butter for moisture, nourishment, and shine. All you have to do is spray it on your hair in the shower and comb it through. Leave it on for 1-3 minutes and rinse. It has a light, refreshing scent, and is vegan, cruelty-free, and weirdly, gluten-free.
Because I have so much hair, I prefer to spray it onto my hand and work it through my hair instead of spraying it directly on my head. After the first use, my hair was soft, manageable, and so shiny that I kept petting it like a dog. I’ll definitely be bringing this home with me for Thanksgiving, so I can get off the plane with flawless hair.
Unlike a wealthy couple’s prenup, this mask is quick, painless, effective, and you’ll see results in one use. I’m officially hooked.
