Sometimes, the things that look bad for us are actually the things we need. It’s definitely not the case for drugs or alcohol, but when it comes to cactus, you should look past the pricks! Cacti and other succulents like aloe vera and prickly pear are water storing plants, so they’re great for helping your skin do the same. As the summer gets hotter, our skin needs these desert dwellers more than ever!
Kiehl’s Cactus Flower & Tibetan Ginseng Hydrating Mist is my favorite facial mist ever. It smells incredible and feels so refreshing.
Make’s lightweight Succulent Skin Gel is a winner for face and body. It’s made with aloe and chamomile, so basically you won’t find a more soothing and gentle product on the market.
I’ve been wanting to try Huxley’s Grab Water Essence for months. It’s 85% Sahara Cactus to truly quench your parched skin.
Kahina Prickly Pear Seed Oil is 100% organic and will neutralize free radicals that make your skin age. I also love the old-fashioned look of this bottle.
Tony Moly’s sheet masks have been a favorite of mine for years, and this Cactus mask will hydrate your tired skin in less than twenty minutes!
Speaking of sheet masks, Skinion claims their Cactus Waterbomb is “as close as you can get to a cactus.” I’ll let you know if I agree!
Love, Me
I must try a lot of these products. They all sound so wonderful!
