I’ve been a fan of Kiehl’s since junior high when my family stayed at a hotel that had their products in the bathroom. I remember how luxurious they were, and how pretty and fancy I felt after using them. Kiehl’s is not only one of the best skincare brands in the world, but one of the oldest: they’ve been perfecting skin since 1851. My first Kiehl’s purchase was Creme de Corps, their cult classic, ultra-rich lotion.
Nowadays, they’re one of my go-to brands for everything from masks (read my review of their Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Mask) to mists (Cactus Flower & Tibetan Ginseng is my number one pick in the overall face mist draft). When I saw the Calendula and Aloe Mask on Into The Gloss’ monthly product roundup, I went to my local store right away and grabbed a jar.
Though I typically review products with pros and cons, I can honestly say that I don’t have any cons for this one! This gel mask is great for a number of reasons: it’s gentle, hydrating, and refreshing. I love anything with aloe in it for summer, because I spend a lot of time outdoors and it’s such a soothing plant for sun exposure. From a financial standpoint, a tub will set you back $45, but I can safely say that since you only need a very small amount of product per application, it will last you a long time. For an elevated level of spa luxury, I store it in the fridge so it’s refreshingly cold with every application.
Have a great weekend!
Love, Me
