One of the best things about this time of year is that a lot of my old friends from elementary and high school come back in town for the holidays! It’s really special to reconnect with people I’ve known almost my whole life, and to spend time with them now as adults. I feel very lucky that some of my closest friends today are the people I’ve been friends with since I was a little girl; we’ve shared so much, and every time we’re together, it feels like nothing’s changed.
I went to one of my favorite Boston spots, Lolita’s Cucina, with two of my dearest friends this weekend as a kickoff to Thanksgiving festivities. They have a really cool, kind of dark vibe, with great decor, drinks and food; perfect for some pictures! If you’re in the area, definitely it’s a Boston must!
Blinded by the flash
My favorite drink on their menu (aside from the amazing mojitos) is the Red Lulu
Obsessed with their dishes
Every table gets one of these flavored ices (tequila optional)
Romantic stuff
The mushroom quesadillas and street corn are my favorite items on the menu
Alan and our enormous dessert, the house cotton candy!
Life sure isn’t as simple as it was in grade school, but we always have each other’s backs
Have a healthy and happy holiday week! Even in the hardest times, we all have so much to be thankful for. Love, Me
Both you and your friends’ tops are so pretty… loveee the lace detailing so much! Looks like you had a lot of fun! Reconnecting with old friends is one of the best things. ❤
They’re actually both my tops! Mine is from Express and the one I lent her is from H&M in London.
