In case you haven’t heard, the Red Sox are kind of my favorite thing in the world, second only to my family and my house on Cape Cod. I feel so lucky to have grown up only a short walk from Fenway Park, and I love going to games with my family and friends. My mom’s law firm has amazing season tickets, and there’s something really special about cheering for the Sox in the same seats I sat in as a baby.
Not to jinx it, knock on wood and all the other superstitions aside, Boston is unreal this year. With David Ortiz breaking records left and right, and everyone playing well, I’ve been dying over my team literally killing the game, and my friends are somewhat used to me screaming and crying every time I get an MLB At-Bat notification on my phone! Since Ortiz is retiring this year and I’m a certified Sox fanatic, I’ve been trying to go to as many games as I can, and the photos were too good not to share…
The sunsets have been a little extra lately
View from my mom’s season tickets. I love that I’ve sat here every year of my life.
Ortiz is the only player jersey I’ll wear. Otherwise, I’m vintage in my Ted Williams shirt!
Fenway soft-serve is worth breaking my diet for.
Smiling slash crying hysterically after the Sox beat the Yankees for the fourth game in a row. I was a total mess this entire game!
Writing this post has made me extremely emotional, so I’m off to watch the 2004 and 2013 World Series DVDs and cry happy tears about my team. No shame when you have the greatest team in the league, the DIVISION CHAMPS! Love, Me
