Week in Photos: Heat Wave

It was so hot last week that I could barely stand to go outside for more than five minutes.  I’m not someone who sweats a lot, but for temperatures above ninety, even my body can’t stay cool.  But summer is going to be over soon, and I know I’ll be trapped inside soon enough, so I have to live while I can, right?  I took some good shots last week, so I thought I’d share how beautiful Boston can be, even in the hottest heat…

File_001 (1).jpegHow nice is the patio at my new office?  I eat breakfast out here when I get to work a little early! File_002Barking Crab is a legendary Boston eatery right on the water!  The ocean breeze makes dining in the heat bearable.File_000(1)I like to walk over the bridge instead of taking the trolley stop near my building.  Extra exercise, sunshine, and ocean air!Processed with VSCO with c1 presetMy parents have a great roof deck with views of the entire city.  We like to eat outside in the summer whenever we can, so I cooked them a big, healthy meal. File_000(2)Pavilion seats at A-Rod’s last game at Fenway.  We lost, but at least Papi hit better than he did!File_001Fenway Park has its own little garden, how cute!File_002(1)Even though it was 97 degrees at the game, there’s no place I’d rather be.  Best place in the city, maybe even the world.

Have a great week!  XX, Gabrielle
