One of the most amazing things about London is that almost every museum in the city is free! And in such an expensive place, it is just great that anyone can see some of the most incredible works of art in the world. I was only in London for three days, but I spent a few hours at the National Gallery, Victoria and Albert Museum, and Churchill’s War Room. I absolutely love museums, and luckily for you guys, they all allowed photography…
Daddy the historian checking out Churchill!
This map of Europe in Churchill’s underground bunker had so many pin colors for different enemies that I couldn’t keep track!
How stunning is the National Gallery?
I could sit in a room full of Impressionist art for hours.
This Monet was enormous!
Van Gogh’s sunflower series is my all-time favorite.
I didn’t see the ‘no pictures’ sign until after… oops.
Sunday morning at the Victoria and Albert Museum. This place is so stunning!
My favorite modern artist, Chihuli makes these incredible works of glass and they’re all over the world in gorgeous settings.
Love these tiles in the museum cafe!
This is the museum cafe. I mean, seriously.
A weekend full of art is exactly what I needed. I hope all of you have great weekends!
XX, Gabrielle
I love the photography. The photo of Chihuli’s glass construction is really something.
Thank you! I love photography
