Less than a week left in Israel, and less than two weeks until Boston. Oh, Boston. My city, my home, my heart. If you’ve read my first few posts on this blog, you know how I feel about my hometown. I dedicated the first ever post to my city after the bombing, and how proud I am of indomitable spirit of my fellow Massholes. I’ve expressed my almost psychotic (but not really… but kind of) love for the Boston Red Sox. Seriously though, WORLD CHAMPIONS 2013, BABY!!!! Anyway, in case you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m extremely excited to get back.
Here’s some of the things I’m looking forward to…
All the twinkle lights. Christmas isn’t really a thing in Israel, and I’m craving some holiday cheer
Ice-skating at Frog Pond… Fun fact: I’m really really ridiculously good at it
Cocoa and chocolate penguins from the deliciously decadent Burdick’s of Cambridge
Speaking of penguins, I LOVE afternoons at the New England Aquarium with my little sis
And the list goes on. And on. And on. The Museum of Fine Arts, sledding in Chestnut Hill, root beer floats in Cambridge and big noodle soup in Chinatown. Just to name a few. My beautiful city, I’ll see you soon.
