When I go out to a bar, I like to go somewhere unique. If they have live music, 80s music, a great patio, I’m 100% more likely to go than to just any basic bar. I’m also a fan of a good dive bar!

But EP & LP’s rooftop bar has become one of my favorites for a whole other reason. They screen movies! You can pay to watch a movie on a big screen under the stars, and somehow, despite the traffic on La Cienega down below, it’s a beautiful, quiet experience.

I went to see a showing of Rocky Horror there last month, and it was so much fun. Next up: holiday movies in December! With their rooftop bar on one side and the comfy seats and blankets in the screening area, it’s the perfect place to go with friends or on a date, and definitely a memorable night out.
