I’ve always been claustrophobic, afraid of being crushed or enclosed in a tight space, and my skin is the same way; it needs a lot of hydration, but I hate feeling like my face is caked in heavy product of any sort.  To that end, I’ve tested a lot of skincare products that claim to deliver the hydration, sans heaviness. Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich is the thickest moisturizer on this list, but my skin drinks it so quickly that it feels like nothing.  It also smells incredible.

Lately, I’ve been loving Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum, which is packed with so much hyaluronic acid that I often skip moisturizer.

OLEHENRIKSEN Counter Balance™ Oil Control Hydrator was my daytime moisturizer all summer, and I’m still using it here in LA.  It’s both hydrating and mattifying, which is great for my shine-prone skin, and a little goes a long way.
