The Tony Awards Are Proof The 80s Are Back

As a Hamilton addict who grew up on RENTWicked, and Annie, to name a few, I always love the Tony’s.  I even used to perform Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for my family.  As a one-woman show.  What can I say, I think musical theater is extremely special.

But this post is about the awards show, not the shows themselves.  And I noticed something very interesting on last night’s red carpet: it was all about the 80s.  Draped gowns, big sleeves, loud glitz and glamour everywhere!
