With spring and summer’s warmer temperatures, I’m thrilled to be able to spend more time outside. But I’m conscious of the fact that I’m not the greatest at protecting my skin from the sun; I enjoy laying out and feel much prettier with a glowy tan. I don’t drink or smoke, so I allow myself this one vice.
As a skincare pro, I am trying to be more protective, especially of my face. The better I treat it, the less I have to do to combat aging. My problem with sunscreen is that many kinds are too heavy, clogging my pores and causing breakouts. Enter Tatcha’s Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 35+++, specifically formulated not only to protect skin but also to improve it! It’s made with silk extract, Japanese wild rose, and loquat leaf extract to nourish, smooth, and provide skin with antioxidants. It’s made without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. It’s awesome, and I’ve been wearing it every day, rain or shine.
My one complaint with this sunscreen is that it is very white, so it makes me pretty pale. For those of you with darker skin tones, I’d recommend Glossier’s new Invisible Shield, which goes on clear.
Practice safe sun! Love, Me
