So I’m sitting here drinking my favorite green smoothie, and I wanted to share my recipe with you. This drink is one of the only things I can have for breakfast early in the morning (sensitive stomach does not even begin to cover it) that will pump me full of protein and other good things. My mom has been telling me for years that I need to eat breakfast, but I only really started making the effort this year, and I admit that I feel better and it has also helped me lose weight!
What You’ll Need:
Frozen pineapple (you can use fresh if you have it, but I like how this makes it extra chilled)
Milk or water (I use soy, coconut or almond milk, but you can use any kind of liquid you want as a base)
You can also add avocado, nut butter, or greek yogurt to your smoothie for extra creaminess and protein. The great thing about smoothies is that you can put in as many or as little of each ingredient as you like! I love spinach, so I go heavy on the green in my smoothie, but my sister prefers to not even know the greens are in there. Blend and enjoy 🙂
